What does that thing lock and unlock on your TJ? There is no way Chrysler put the SKIM chip in there.

It locks nothing. Manual door locks. Engine will not turn over or start until pressed. It may just disconnect the neutral safety switch. There is a siren under the hood but it apparently does not work. I have the factory install manual and just have not been motivated to remove the system.

Whatever that is, it isn't factory. And it sounds annoying.

It’s a factory dealer installed. I have the official Chrysler instal manual. It’s a big pain in the ass. I’m just too lazy to remove it yet.
