Starting from a stock TJR this thread covers the transformation to build my dream Jeep using most of the recommendations found here on the forum.

And my money too! At this point I may as well just put some Currie axles on it and everything. Same as what @ToddK is doing with his!
I'm waiting for the day you throw a 2.8 cummins in then decide the following year you want an LS or vice versa. Then we will really know your off the deep end. :p

These are some photos of my stock 2003 Rubicon being set up with a Savvy Mid Arm kit and the Savvy armor/skids. Still has some work left to be done but it’s getting close. Along with all the savvy parts I added front/rear revolution chromoly axles and a super 16 big brake kit courtesy black magic brakes. Trail Ready beadlocks wrapped in a Nitto trailgrappler in 35/12.5/17 finish it out.
Nice build that is one badass TJ. Do you work at a offroad shop? Clearly it is at home with all the other jeeps in the shop and I believe I see a hint of a bronco.

Looks awesome @ToddK

Wow, that thing looks awesome! I'm very possibly going to be doing the Savvy mid-arm kit on mine as well.

Damn Chris, you are really going nuts with that khaki TJR. I love it!

Looks exactly like mine (mine also had the Savvy mid-arm, Savvy bumper, and it's the same color).

I assume that's the Currie steering with the Savvy tie rod?

Looks like you moved to Arizona perhaps?

Been a while since I’ve posted any updates on the build, moving across the country and all that came with it has had me busy elsewhere. I ended up adding the Savvy front bumper with corner guards and Genright aluminum fenders to further lighten it up. View attachment 79528View attachment 79529
Very nice looking rig. The only thing I would change is mounting the corner guards on the bumper straight.

Yes that’s the Savvy aluminum tie rod, it all came together with their ultimate steering kit. I wish I could say I moved to AZ but unfortunately I’m now in Massachusetts. It may be great to some but I miss the openness of the desert and access to wheeling on any given day within 15mins of the house. Hoping once it finally warms up I will have a more positive outlook and get out to explore what the east coast offers for putting this rig to use

Yes, I used to live in the Phoenix area and miss it greatly. I'm in Oregon now, but I hope to move back to Arizona one day. I really love the desert.

It's too rainy and cold up here for mw. I can't even imaging Massachusetts!
