KO2 on Stock 15x7 Eccos Questions

Hi Guys,

I have a 2006 with 15x7 Ecco rims on it, and I would like to retain them. I'm looking at putting some BFG KO2 on them. I've seen some conflicting information, and I wanted to check in before I do something slightly foolish.

1. Assuming I want to go bigger, and I have no lift, what is the most correct size. 31x10.5x15?
2. Assuming I go bigger, will the spare still fit?
3. What will I need to do to keep my speedo somewhat close.

Any help would be super appreciated!

1. 31 x 10.50 x 15 is a good choice with no lift
2. Spare should fit fine, you might need to use some washers on the spare tire rack studs to space it out some (in order to close the tailgate), but might not. Also, you might need to put a spacer under the third brake light bracket to clear the spare. Some tires fit, some don't.
3. Speedo will not be that far off, I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you have some really tiny tires now...

Yep, I'm running that size and have been for a while along with loads of others, in fact I'm about to go to 32 11.50 on my 7 inch rim (unless I can get a good deal on some 8" rims) it's been discussed and from what I've read it's fine, no different from a 12.50 tyre on an 8 inch wheel.
