Colorado Krew Hangout

I'm done for the year.

I've got kitchen cabinets on my to-do list that I'm about 50% done with. Need to finish those then going to try and start looking at our camper for a rebuild, along with the 32rh.

I try hard not to stop, if I sit around house or in the city to much I get antsy. To many injuries so snow sports are getting really limited to powder days

There was a time (maybe 2016?) where me and a couple others ran Chinaman's on New Years Eve, it was completely dry. BV is kinda the banana belt of CO.

I ran Slaughterhouse years ago, it was nothing more than a dirt road with one section that was eroded enough to where you could play and get a little bit tippy.

We ran Chinaman Jan 8th last year. Was snow covered and icy... added some pucker factor for sure. SH has one hill climb if you take the left line has a couple crawly spots mostly just a day in the mountains. If my girl is with me it's trails with views and hiking spots, if she's not it's more crawly. I'm good with either just like being outside.

Has anyone been out lately? Looking up towards the mountains from Denver looks like most areas are probably snowed in? Lower part of Red Elephant or Ironclads still maybe? Slaughterhouse?

I ran Sevenmile Creek on Sunday. It was doable, although it was getting pretty slick in the tree covered areas. There was still enough traffic that the snow was well packed and turning to ice.

I still haven't had a chance to run that. I'm up in Fort Collins a lot, I know it's up that way

When did they open up Sevenmile? Last couple times I’ve come down from Kelly Flats it’s been gated.

Thinking quick rip through Slaughterhouse Sunday if anyone is interested? Closes Jan 1st so be last lap of the season. Probably be a little snow and mud

Got family coming in Sunday, and what little time I have before they get here, I'm going to finish insulating my garage.

Not meant to be. Just got new sliders from @Fluxor dropped off today so looks like I’ll be mocking those up instead
