Sorry for the last minute posting but for anyone that's interested, I'll be heading up to Big Bear on June 20th to do a few of the trails. Going to meet at the Gold Mountain trailhead and be ready at 8am (aired down and disconnected). We're starting early due to popularity. Last time I was there (3 weeks ago) there was a several hour delay due to an F250 or F350 that broke an axle on the first waterfall.

The goal is to do Gold Mountain, John Bull, and Holcomb Creek if there is time. Ideally, we'd finish with Dishpan Springs as well but that's a long shot. Be prepared for a bumpy ride.

My son will have his 03 Rubicon, I'll be in my TJ6, and there will be a couple of others. I run GMRS and have a CB. Hit me up if you want to join. Make sure you have a rig that's capable. None of the trails are too difficult but without clearance you will scrape a bit.

Thanks for the heads up. I've always done Holcomb Creek via Dishpan Springs so this will be the first time doing it going west. Looking forward to it.

Had a great time out there. There were 5 vehicles in our group including a Toyota. Gold Mountain was a breeze, no traffic. John Bull had a backup that took a little while to get through especially since someone broke a locking hub in the middle of the gatekeeper (not our group).

We hit Holcomb Creek later in the day and had an hour and a half wait getting through the toughest section. Happened to see Mischief Maker (youtuber) as part of a Genrite group waiting behind us to get through the obstacle.

Overall, it was a great day. No breakage really helps especially when you have a large audience.

Thanks for putting this together and showing me the easy lines! Talking about going back July 5. Let me know if you’re interested.

I’m bad with pictures. These are the only pictures I have from the day and this is the RockStar garage group instead of anyone with us.

Right at the end the day too. I didn't take a single pic either but the others may have. These are at the gatekeeper to Holcomb Creek.

I tracked our day on Gaia. Ran 3 trails in just under 11 hours. We were moving for 5 hours and waiting for trail traffic for 5 1/2. An hour of it was waiting for the YJ on 33’s:mad:
