Let's see your wheels!

Does Method not offer any centers?

Yes but they are 33$ each.. with shipping and customs I would have to pay around $200 for the set. https://www.methodracewheels.com/co...01-304-305-306-307-309?variant=13646618263613 And the stock ones ruin the look imo

Not a TJ but working on an 87 MJ resto and bolt pattern swaps. 15x8 AR Outlaw II with 33x10.5 Dick Cepek Extreme Country tires. Don't remember exact weight but in the 60s of lbs per corner.

Overall not my style normally, but going for an 80s style build, and they actually look fantastic up close.

edit: forgot these have wheel spacers in the rear to make up for the weird MJ body taper

This is an old school wheel that consistently looks great, especially with a slightly bigger tire, on all TJ’s and old school Jeeps, like yours. Beautiful MJ!

Is that the factory roll bar? I'd kill for one I just keep checking Facebook and Craigslist daily

It is. I picked up what I thought would be a parts MJ last year. It turned out to be a really straight, rust free and original Eliminator. I sold it to a guy but exchanged a few parts before it left. I got the roll bar with lights and covers, a mint pair of seats, an original tonneau cover, a working period JVC stereo and some other small items. The roll bar lights had never been hooked up so there was no switch or harness. They're wired up in this pic but I haven't installed the switch yet.

I've been looking for an original rear bumper like yours. They`re as hard to find as the roll bars!

I came out of a restaurant one day last fall and had a note on my driver's seat from a guy offering me an original bumper from an insurance claim in 93 that he never installed, so I jumped on it. Box wasn't even opened.

Sorry about the thread hijacking... the bumper story is too cool not to share

WOW!!! I don`t think I`ve ever seen a NEW one let alone one for $50! Similar story with the 2nd MJ I had. The seller found me and the price was too good to pass up. Last summer I had another guy pull up in my driveway with a Suburban full of MJ parts. He was cleaning out his garage and was happy to give it all to me. It included 2 sets of tail lights and a tailgate with extra latches (all hard things to come by).

Sorry everyone. We`ll let you get back to wheels now.

I had Eagle Alloy wheels (made in USA) 15X8, 3.25 BS, 31X10.5X15 tires, and 7 inch wide fenders.

The new wheels installed yesterday are American Racing (made in China) 15X8, 5.29 BS, with the same 31X10.5X15 tires. I installed stock width fenders and the new wheel BS moved the tires 2 inches inward. I installed 5mm spacers up front to increase track width compared to the rear, and along with a steering stop washer on each side, they keep the 10.5 width front tires from rubbing hard parts.

There is one for sale here in Fairbanks and my coworker is opting to buy a silver one. Lame. 😆
Easy now / nothing wrong with Silver either.............you wont find any color as clean as mine is in "FAIRBANKS" 😉
I must say Yours looks pretty damn clean, can't see inside or underneath. Is it the original paint ? or redone ?
Has a very nice shine to it !
