looking for a light at to go across the windshield. I'm wanting it to set higher than the windshield so I can use it as a front support for my kayak. Any help is much appreciated.

Mount them upside down and get a bar with more height to do so. Note: they may whistle when so close to the windshield. I wrapped my lights with vynyle clothh that are secured with Velcro, which prevents the whistle and protects them from rock damage, If off roading at night, I simply remove. Easy peasy!
