Any good trails, 1-4 rating, 1 hr or so from scottdale? We'll be in the JLU so I'm not looking for the fun @starkey480 tj trails. Maybe something that leads to an old mine or something historical in nature?

South and east:
Four Peaks
Rolls
Bulldog Canyon (need a forest permit)
Box Canyon (need a state trust land permit)
Montana Mountain

North:
New River
Big Maggie May Creek

Unfortunately the most historical trail (Apache Trail) has been closed for almost two years.
