LJ rock sliders?

My wife is also vertically challenged at nearly a foot shorter than me. Had these on my TJ for a few years and they worked well for her as steps.

While not recommended for serious protection due to mounting via the body mounts, mine did stand up well to some big hits before I went another direction for better protection.

After a bit of research and trial and error with other methods, I wound up with Rockslide Engineering steps with the added armor. My days of hardcore wheeling are in my past so not worried about needing to reinforce them like Scott. My wife likes them. At this point I only have about 3 1/2 inches of lift and running almost 33” tires.
But will probably end up on 35”s just cause i can.

I have these on my F-250. Do you leave the mounting hardware on the jeep or remove the brackets from the rocker completely when you wheel?

I only remove the four bolts that holds the steps not the brackets. If the bracket gets bent, you can bend them back to remount the steps.

I've gotta look into these. I was planning to eventually get rid of my nerf bars when I install my body lift, but find having a step extremely useful especially when grabbing things out of the back seat. Plus it means I wouldn't have to fight years of muscle memory.
