The axle project went to the back burner while I waited on parts. In the mean time I found a great deal on some Savvy aluminum corners. And a good deal on a new ARB compressor. The corners went on without issues and fit great . I left them raw so it breaks up all the black on the jeep

I got back to working on the axle, I ordered the Artec bracket kit, it went together pretty easyan I’m happy with how stout everything is.

after getting everything welded up I installed the new knuckle and pressed in the spicer ball joints. and then covered everything in a thick coat of black spray paint.

I found a set of used almost new Metalcloak control arms and installed those when I put the axle in, everything went in easy and I was happy that all my measurements were spot on and everything bolted right up.

Yea I figured, but Currie arms are few and far between in the used market so I bought what I could find

The high pinion fixed 2 things I’m happy about, it got rid of my vibrations at 60+ After I did the 4.88 in the other axle and it got the driveshaft above the link arms and outta the rocks

There was a storm in the sierras last weekend so midweek I went and ran the Slickrock trail. The snow was untouched on the way in so we were the first in after the storm. The snow made it a little more difficult and the water crossings were pretty deep. The ARB was a huge difference compared to the truetrac I had. I thought The truetrac worked better than it did in the rocks.

I don't recall if you have a press but if you don't bring it over and we can straighten it out in no time.
