Long Arms, and a Belly Up Skid Plate. I personally think the ride quality is way better.
Unfortunately someone "repaired" the frame rails where the skid bolts on and welded in studs, so those do hang down. There is a frame swap in the future.Glad you're happy with it, but it does look like you have a lot hanging down down to catch on. It'll be interesting to read where this goes once there's some scratches down there.
Beat me to it by seconds!
I guess I am curious as to what problem long arms solved?Unfortunately someone "repaired" the frame rails where the skid bolts on and welded in studs, so those do hang down. There is a frame swap in the future.
Elcheapo Nitro 7's from the original Quadratec lift. Falcon's in the near future maybe?Tell us about the shocks
^this!Tell us about the shocks
Surprisingly yes, although I do have a 1" body mount lift and 1" motor mount lift in there so that may have helped. The biggest PITA was getting at the rear passenger lower frame side bolt. It's tucked right behind the muffler. It looks like you were able to reuse the original transmission mount and persuade the muffler to play nice with the new skid plate.
Nice work!
Is this pic yes. I did install CAVFAB adjustable uppers and I did put my engine skid back on after I took these pics. Are those still the stock upper arms in the front?
