question, its weird that the 4wd dash lights dont come on....

Could be corrosion on the gauge cluster connection. Mine didn’t work for years and finally decided to last winter.

Welp, unfortunately the timing didnt work out as I was called out to work.....So the jeep search will have to continue at a later date...bummer

2003 does not have the 4x4 light in the dash. I believe yours is not '03.

But you said you could feel it go into 4 WD. It could be as simple as a bad bulb or loose wire. I wouldn't let that stop me from buying it at that price.

My 4WD light burnt out a long time ago. Cheap and easy to replace with LED's. I agree I wouldn't let something that small stop me from buying it.
