Looking for advice on potential LJ purchase

I looked at iship,, can you say what shipper you went with, I went there and it seems there are multipal companys shipping, maybe I am doing something wrong, I have not done anything like this before.

Thanks for the well wishes with my daughter.

It doesn't make much sense to me spending $15K on such an old vehicle that's only claim to fame is off-road performance just to tow the two ton pig behind an RV and run it to the supermarket.

People like what they like, and want what they want; and will pay extra to get exactly that.
At least the LJ will hold its value longer.

Here's one in the Knoxville, TN area.

I have been searching for a clean LJ for a while now. I live in Central Ohio, I get this isn't much to go on but I don't need a lot but a well taken care of no rust LJ that either has mods or not. LJ will be primarily be towed behind my blue bird motor coach for adventures.

i came accross this add in Ohio and was wondering your thoughts and if anyone might know this Jeep. Thanks for any comments that might be made. I do hope this add image is enough to go on.

South West 04 LJ under 100K mi looks stock mostly $14Kish. I am really close to pulling the trigger.

like vary much enjoy your opinion on this LJ, looks pretty clean, paint is scratched and cracked but Im told it is in grate mechanical shape. No hard top:-( aftermarket best top soft top. 05, LJ, 97Kmi, $14500. @Chris @Starrs experts please give me your opinion. Current 2nd owner said he pulled flares, sill guard and raddle caned them black again from, original owner had it outside I guess ;-(. Not a fan of the nerfs and such but it's a start :). Current owner put a budget boost on, pucks and shocks, Id want OME system ultimately.

Looks clean like the color combo. Is this for sale in OH? I would ask for more frame photos. Engine bay doesn’t look bad. Have you seen this one in person yet?

Jeep is in SC, Im considering buying by pics and phone conversation. Current owner says he will trailer it up to Ohio for the right price. attached are all the underbody pics I have, not the best but gives a good idea of the condition, not a lot of corrosion, I don't see any frame rust. Face timed him today, as stated a lot of body scratches and hood cracks in the paint. That isn't as important to me as no rust, maybe Im wrong. No good farkels to speak of. he did have heater core "mopar" replaced a year ago, and installed a after market none mopar :-( radiator.

I don’t see any rust issues, but there’s some oil marks on the driveway may not be anything to worry about tho. I guess the question is are you going to paint correct the scratches or just live with them?

Live with them,
Thanks for your thoughts, I have been looking for a while now I am concerned my impatient nature may make a rash decision on this one.
What are your thoughts on his price? not a steal, but better than a dealer price in my opinion, what says you?

Better than a dealer price for sure, but a tad high IMO. The paint defects you can use to your favor. Make him think your gonna have to pay to get it fixed, and see if he will budge on the price. For almost 15k the paint should be clean.
