Looking for recommendation on best hood latch

I lost both hood latches last spring on a trip within 80 miles of each other.Both where Daystar replacements. Not a good feeling with the hood comes up on one side..Had to wire the hood shut until I could get new dorman ones at a local parts store. And one of those snapped 3 days later. Bought the Drake ones when I got home which I don't like the look, top piece doesn't fit the aev hood very well.
