Ok guys help me out before i start a 3 hour drive. The jeep im looking at is apperently manual steering (didnt kno was a tj option) lol. Any ways how horrible is it to drive a tj with manual steering? Will i dread it? Would it be easy to add power steering?

I wouldn't waste 3 hours to look at a Jeep with manual steering. I have enough trouble at times on some trails steering with power steering.
id agree with Jerry,why would you even consider it? unless your gonna keep it stock and on the pavment,,and even then i would question it...
Especially if the tires will be anything but the smallest possible that would present the minimum possible resistance to being turned.
Sounds like ill be passing ;/ my old willys sucked with manual steering was hopeing the tj would handle it better.
I wouldn't mess with it. I owned a car once with manual steering and it was a pain in the ass.
Power steering was one of those inventions we should all be thankful for.
With big tires that most of us put on our Jeeps, manual steering would flat out suck!
