MCE fenders on sale

They are popular. They will flex out of the way and retain their shape well. Plus, can eliminate some bumpstop and allow for a larger tire. The downside, they are usually expensive like described above ($700+). Some folks find it hard to spend that amount of money for a pair of flexible plastic fenders when they can spend about the same or even less for a pair of steel or aluminum fenders

I really like the stock fender look and it seems impossible to find a set of stock replacement fenders. I may just pick them up, worst case I'm sure I wouldn't lose my money by selling them if I don't like them.

***The picture is deceiving, these are only for the front fenders, the set is $399. Just an FYI***

Are they legit? I have a dented fender that could use some cutting,

These fall somewhere between Metalcloak and AEV highline. With 35s and some shock mount work, the front limit to up on the body will be the rear fender wall full flex full steering lock.

These are the only aftermarket fenders I like the look of.

Good price for the set.

For those getting in on this, here are options for turn signals and side markers.

Dorman 1631376 Jeep Wrangler Passenger Side Parking / Turn Signal Light Assembly https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JW235VI/?tag=wranglerorg-20

Look for both the driver and passenger sides. Google search for Jerry's MCE install from 10 years ago. This includes the JK turn signals.

I'll be trying these for the side markers, either on the side of the grill or somewhere on the inner fender.

Good stuff here. Seems like a great price at $400. Extreme Terrain has a DIY write-up, with pics, if anyone is interested.

Do those require the resistors and what not in order to work with the factory wiring?

Do you mean for the flasher to cycle at the right speed, or is there another need for the extras you refer to?

Cycle at the right speed and to work with the stock incandescent bulbs as well. I already have the JK turn signals in my grill, but tucked the old side marker lights up and in the engine, would like to dig them back out and mount in my aluminum inner fenders.

That depends on if you want alternating turn signal flashes. Beyond that, I think an LED flasher relay is enough.

Waterdog on WF did a write up years ago on recreating the floating ground with resistors and diodes for a full LED conversion. Though I never quite got it right on mine.
