Went for a ride with my wife and dogs today, past all the crowds at Loon Lake and the Rubicon Trail. This is at the Northern most point of Desolation Wilderness overlooking the Granite Chief Wilderness. It also overlooks Hell Hole Reservoir where we will be running the trail next Saturday.

Damn I miss the northwest. Texas just don't cut it with its African safari savannah like terrain. fricken shrubs everywhere. I want some real TREES
It’s what makes it difficult for me to consider moving I’m not a big fan of the Savannah or the jungle
