I'm watching the Mecum Auto Auctions from Louisville. The are selling 4WD's
1977 Red Bronco 19,000
Scrambler for 22,000
1974 Red Bronco 35,000
All Jacked and rebuilt.
Cheaper to but a vintage 4X4 from this auction than a used in normal condition and much cheaper than a new one.

One day you’ll start seeing TJs at those auctions. Might be another 30 years though.

I would rather have one of the vintage rigs the modern day for sure. They are restored to factory new in most cases and look so good. My favorite would be a grand Wagoneer from the early 80's. You can pick one of those up totally redone for about half the price of a new JK Rubi.

Funny, last Saturday I was in the garage changing diff fluid and just messing around. I had mecums auction on the tv. I took this pic to show my wife what a sound investment the Jeep was....;)
