Metal cloak fenders

Hey All,

New to forum and am looking for opinions on the red fenders on my jeep. bought it this way and not sure if i should paint em black?? second photo is after rough country 2.5 lift and new soft top. so red or black?????

PLEASE paint them black! I have no idea what the previous owner was thinking, but that looks horrible (in my opinion of course).

It will look much better once they're black.
 
I took mine to a local shop and got them powder coated for a very low price. I don´t know if MC powder coating it worth it, i quoted it before they shipped but $ 700 for all arched system, including rock sliders, so expensive.

Hey All,

Painted the fenders. After a good scuffing with some scotch brite pads n a rub down with mineral spirits I shot em with rustoleum hammered black. There more gray than black but I like that they somewhat match the step n other plastic parts. No More red!!! Thanks again for all the opinions! Before n after pics below. Pics with gray fenders are after rough country 2.5" lift and soft top.

There ya go, totally transforms the look... And it looks sooo much better now!
