These Ranchos came new with the truck. 5 years of Midwest winters. Installed some new 5100s, ride is much improved

My only gripe about Ranchos is how cheap and ugly the finish is. I guess it doesn’t matter when it’s just slightly over $50 per shock

Yeah I knew ranchos poor paint quality from this forum, and from looking under the rear of my truck... pretty disappointing for a OEM part but more reason to swap out for better riding shocksMy only gripe about Ranchos is how cheap and ugly the finish is. I wish Rancho offered an aluminum body shock, that’s for sure
I could not believe the condition of the Rancho's when I did the frame swap last year, barely anything left of the lower ends.

Yep, they don’t even powder coat them. Someone just rattle cans then and does as shitty of a job as possible.
