$500 is a great price. The last of 5 I bought cost $1000. I didn't blink an eye at $200 a tire. I have some nicer more expensive tires, but I can't justify the added cost for what they provide.

That's about what I paid for mine. At least I got a set of 15" wheels that I liked with them. Or maybe I bought a set of wheels I liked that also came with some garbage tires.

Some people just can't stand hearing others using Patagonia tires and liking them. It's like they're obsessed with hating them and need others to hate them too. Anytime someone mentions them, the same handful of people come out whining about them. It's like they're drawn to it like a tornado to a trailer park. lol

I've had a set on my jeep for the past 2 years and they've been awesome. Quiet on the road, excellent handling in dry, wet, muddy and snowy conditions. I've had zero problems with them and have 2 friends who liked mine and bought sets of their own and have had zero problems with theirs.

I got 5 tires for $500, my buddy hooked me up. We will see if not will run some Buckshot Mudder Bias Ply Tires. First Jeep I had was an 86 Wagon, they had CO-OP tires, they were loud and did not last long, balanced horribly but still liked them and they were cheap. I will be using my Jeep to travel on gravel roads and in the woods on a deer lease.
It's good to hold the Patagonia up to 50 year old tire tech. They might stand a chance of winning that battle.

I don’t think anyone cares what tires other folks run. They only care when one tries to convince others that they are a quality tire choice.

It seems to he a little more than that. I mean the biggest mouthpiece on here against the Patagonia tires was someone who I recall bought a set, couldn't wheel worth a damn and blamed the tires. Then had the genius idea to cut them up to make them "better". Once they started failing, he blamed the tire instead of him cutting them all to hell. So that leads to countless rants about those tires in every tire thread posted since then. Just kinda sad now.

That's an interesting spin. Did you know I solved all my tire complaints with a set of MTRs? Never once felt the need to cut them to make them work better.

That is interesting. Did you know I never had any complaints about my Patagonias and never needed to do anything to make them work? Funny isn't it?

Come back when you are in a place where traction matters and when you can recognize the tires are unable to provide it. The fact that I could lock up the Patagonias on pavement where others tires wouldn't tells me a lot about how good they are.

They will work just fine for me since I done live in Mile High Country and don't go wheeling 🙂

Jesus Frankenstein Christ, people! You aren't supposed to be mean to the Patagonias.
