Yeah, not going to get in an argument over this one, but I have been running them at a standard TJ pressure (28-29), and yes, they wear more towards the center for highway driving. Airing down brings the outer lugs into play. Design flaw or not, I have not had any issues so far. Actually think it might be a bit better when using these in the rain due to less width on the contact patch and more of an A/T pattern towards the center.
To date I have not really had any issues with them. I have about 7,000 miles on mine. Rotated them twice.
As many know and have seen, these tires have been wheeled pretty hard by many people. They seemed to have held their own in this department compared with the majors. I run BFG MTs on my other two Jeeps, so I am certainly not against the majors, but thought I would give these a fair shot.
Pretty impressed with them so far for the price. Found them on sale when I bought, so for the price I paid, I feel like it was worth the try.
