This is a 'no shitter' literally and figuratively.
Buddy of mine joined the Navy when he was 30. Well past the normal age. His life habits were already established and his morning habit was-get the newspaper and a cup of coffee and go sit on the shitter reading until the coffee worked it's magic.
Then, he went to bootcamp. No coffee and no 20 minute dumps.
He couldn't shit for the first week and actually ended up in medical . Doc was gonna give him laxatives and an enema, but he told em, "Look doc, I can shit, I just need a cup of coffee, a newspaper and 15 minutes of peace and quiet."
Doc agreed to try that first and everything moved along as it should.
