That's almost as fucked up as the Chief announcing monday at quarters that, "Today through Friday we'll be working half days."
Then when all the bootcamps get excited, telling them that a half day is 12 hours.
Funny thing was that when I was in basic they asked who knew how to drive a stick & truck so I raised my hand....
Took me down and I got my military drivers license before I'd been in for 2 weeks. While everyone else was doing the road march to bivouac I was driving a flat bed truck. Then when everyone else was pulling guard duty I was driving the SGT of the Guard around. I actually got out of more shit because I could drive.
Pissed a lot of my fellow buddies off too.
Its hard to predict how things will turn out…
I was feeling a little melancholy earlier tonight. We'll blame it on my 20 year anniversary of being shot & all that shit.... Just thinking about all my buddies who aren't here anymore just got me thinking...
