I have a milwaukee drill and this battery needs replaced. Cam I use any milwaukee battery? Or does it have to be the 2.0?

"To start things off, you should know that all Milwaukee M18 batteries are designed to work with any Milwaukee M18 tool. There are some physical compatibility issues with a couple of earlier tools, but in those cases, Milwaukee will update those products for free."
every time a batt.takes a crap on me {weed whip, drill, finish nailer,,,impact I get a knock off on amazon for bout
$15,,,seems ok...
I've seen those but was concerned about quality and if it shits the bed is it going to take my expensive tool with it?

I’ve bought one two pack of those knockoff Milwaukee batteries before either from Amazon or eBay and one seemed to work half assed and the other one wouldn’t charge after a couple uses. Sent them back for a refund.
I'm a firm believer that with most things you get what you pay for. I'm In no way saying these knock offs aren't just as good I'm saying batteries aren't something I'm personally willing to go cheap on
All of the chemistries can be made into coins, pouches, or cylinders. If you mean lifepo4 they don't catch fire almost ever. Lithium polymer or or lipo cells catch fire, they are plastic bags and small defects cause them to catch fire.
Ya but they aren't so what's the point? Lipo is risky, lion isn't so much and life is safe. You can blow all the shit you want but it doesn't change reality. All of the chemistries can be made into coins, pouches, or cylinders.
