Man that's a tough problem. I have installed Currie, Brown Dog, and Bombproof rubber mounts from MORE and only with the Brown Dogs did I see more vibration.

Not sure about the 2.4 but on a 4.0 MML by MORE the passenger side sometimes has to be modified as the bracket hit the frame and it transfers vibes into the frame. Make sure you Have plenty of clearance, and consider what it will look like at full torque.

You just need to trim a bit off of this is the case. Angle grinder and cutoff disc. You can get in there without removing the mm.
I’m not sure where it would be contacting the frame? Looks like it’s clear from up top.

I don’t even see where it could possibly hit! LolLook from the bottom. It’s very slight but can transfer vibrations. I’ll have to go look at mine again, but I definitely had to trim from underneath.
Somewhere I had great pics showing where the passenger side mount (on a 4.0) hit the frame. This was just a quick grab. But check this area carefully.

Anchor transmission mount arrived today. I am getting a quote from the guys at T&J Performance (which just happens to be right up the street from me) to install the new transmission mount and double check my work on my MML install. After my driveway battle of the motor mounts, I’m not quite ready to take on another jeep project myselfThings are rarely as straight forward as you might think the first time through, at least for me. If you are sure you haven’t created metal to metal contact as a result of the MML as suggested above, I’m guessing its the MORE mounts themselves. If you still have the same transmission mount you started with, that seems unlikely to be the culprit. Unfortunately, the only way to test that is to pull them and re-install your originals (or stock style replacements like the Anchor parts you ordered on 1” lift blocks like from Savvy or JKS. I have had good luck with Anchor. The stock style mounts are designed to be much softer both because of air pockets molded in and soft durometer. I’d also expect the 2.5L is more finicky than the inherently balanced 4.0. One more thing; when using lift blocks there are sometimes clearance issues between the frame and/or engine bracket or bolts and the blocks. I had that issue with the JKS blocks and stock style mounts with my 6 cyl.
I'm realizing looking at this photo back on my computer... Is that a piece of wood under the transmission mount? Am I crazy? Is that normal??
Sure looks like a piece of wood! If the shop is not familiar with TJ’s, make sure they know to support the trans before removing skid plate.
Final update: got the jeep over to my mechanic today. Had him replace the original transmission mount with one from Anchor and had him check my work on the motor mounts. The OEM mount actually looked visually decent, but the vibrations are WAY better after installation of the new one. Still vibrates more at idle than the OEM motor mounts, but it’s livable now. Need to let my wife drive it now and if she’s okay with the vibes, the MORE mounts will stay on for now. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
I need to know. Was that a piece of plywood in there? I only have a picture on my small phone.
