I really like old school trucks, but I like the power and creature comforts of my F150.

I found a way to get both:

They're doing the wrap on July 8th. Going to install the light bar (with KC lights) and the Pro Comp wheels after.

I don't think I'm going to lift it though since I don't like the idea of a diff drop. Instead I'm just going to level it on 33s.

Anyways, just thought I'd share. I think this is pretty cool! Apparently some Ford dealers were offering this as a dealer installed "retro package".

I like the two tone, that's the way a truck should look.

Agreed! That's what I love most about old trucks, the two tone paint jobs.

I don't know why they stopped doing it. Ford should at least offer it as a factory option as I'm sure it would sell.

Anyways, it will be a wrap but I think it's going to look good.

The Bow Tie boys have been doing this kind of thing for a few years, now.

And then there's the extreme...

that looks pretty slick.

Also, it's just about the most Wyoming thing I've ever seen. :ROFLMAO: I'm not sure I can put a finger on why, just that it screams "cattle ranch truck" for some reason.

There’s so much I love about old trucks, but I really have come to appreciate how nice these new trucks drive.

I’ve always liked that older truck style with the light rack and two tone paint. This is my take on that.

The guy who is doing the wrap just texted me these photos and he said this is one of his favorite wraps he’s done so far.

It fits in here in Wyoming I think. Granted I don’t have all the cattle, but I’ll have two of them soon that we are raising for beef.

I definitely get it. My dad had a two tone F150 when I was a kid. I don't have any photos of it but I do have this one of my Bronco Ii, of similar vintage. The paint job was one of my favorite things about it (it certainly wasn't the 2.9L 🤣 )

I dig the retro look. I've often considered doing a retro decal set on my LJ.

Ahhh yes, the infamous Bronco II! Those were fun!

I’ve seen a few retro TJs that looked pretty cool.

I've always been a sucker for the Bronco II since they came out, and still am. I remember as a child/early teen wanting to get one and drop in a V8 and some "50 series" tires on either 5 star Prime wheels or Cragar SS wheels. Ahhhh the good ole days of innocence.

I guess I don't know if it's still true, but they were CHEAP at one point. I bought that blue one for $800 and trailered it home with a blown transmission the day I took that photo, probably 2009ish. Fixed it up and had it CLEAN, drove it for a couple of years and then couldn't even sell it for $1500. :ROFLMAO:
