So, I finally ended up buying myself a Mopar Rock Crawler front bumper for my TJ. Got a brand new one (left over stock).

Now I just have to wait for it to get here! As many of you know, I’ve been wanting one of these for a while.

Now I just need to find a rear bumper that will go well with it.

Trying to appease the TJ so she doesn’t develop angry eyes when the homecoming queen JKU arrives? Don’t think we don’t see what’s going on here @Chris!

If you want a used matching rear I have one that i didn’t pursue but the owner is still selling it. I can share the sellers information over PM if you are interested.

Quadratec still has a few left, granted they're awfully expensive:

I'll probably just sell it locally. I don't know how I ever got free shipping with it, this thing would cost me $100 minimum just to ship, when you can buy it brand new for $219 with free shipping!

I know, huh? I guess that’s the price I had to pay though if I wanted one. I’ve been wanting one almost forever.

Yeah, that price is up there in JKU status parts prices, which we all know you'll get quite familiar with, lol!

Don't see the appeal personally, especially at 600+. There are some quality options available for that kind of dough.

Personally, I see it as a modified stock bumper. Ends chopped, loops and top portion added on. Please don't take it the wrong way.

Totally get what you guys are saying. I thought the same thing, until I actually got my hands on one. It has some weight to it, and is constructed very well. Winch plate built in, and relocates the factory fogs. And it's OEM which is pretty cool from a purist stand point. But not everybody likes the same stuff, that's why they make hundreds of different bumpers.

X2. This is why I wanted it. I look at it as a cool factory accessory. Yes it’s priced ridiculously, but you only live once, right?

It’s also made by AEV, which those guys just make awesome stuff all around.

I really like this bumper! That price though...

One thing i'm very curious to know is the weight of the bumper, would you be able to let me know what the weight is on the shipping sticker when it arrives? Can't seem to find that spec listed anywhere, and I was wondering how much heavier it is that stock at 20lbs.

It's gotta be 60-80lbs. It has some weight to it.

Sure thing. It says it will get here on the 19th, so I’ll weigh it when it arrives.
