Going from Poison Spider steel armor to aluminum Genrights. Of course nothing lines up so shaving even more weight one hole at a time (pic 1). I have flush mount tail lights that need to be relocated to cover a hole in the Genright armor (pics 2& 3). Was easy enough on driver side but theres a pump or something in passenger rear fender.... what is it? Have a 4.5" hole punch that I'm a little hesitant to drill into other side with. Scared it will punch through into what ever that is? Any ideas on how to avoid a hot mess?

Time for a rear vent delete plate!

Whats the benefit of the rear vent delete? Seen it done and not real happy with Genrights hinge solution but it works for now. The list is long! Finally committed to deoing her how I want. Next up is front fenders. PO fabbed a set of rock sliders but I don't like the gap thats there right now so need to figure out a solution there too.

The evap canister is easy to remove. 4 total bolts and one tube.

Moving your license plate to the tailgate gets it out of tge way. It’s just nice

Absolutely nothing but aesthetics.

We installed one on my wife's JK. The shutter panels failed. Everything in the back of her minivan was covered in dust after all day Forrest Service roads.

Since the JK's tire carrier bolts to tailgate I actually used stainless studs from a Ford 5.4...right metric thread. That allowed me to use RTV on the tailgate for a good seal, hang the plate, hang the tire carrier and then leisurely bolt it down rather than trying to line up holes with two heavy items one lubed up...
