The trail is Hammer Down in Cougar Buttes (Lucerne Valley, Ca)

Seems like a great way to get trails closed.

Anyone care to take a wild guess as to who the #1 champion of all time trail changer in JV is? Before you get your panties all wadded up that is.

Times they do change. 150 years ago my great-grandfather and some other men went to the top of a ridge in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and blasted rock to divert a stream to supply their village aquacia. The water still runs there today. Fast forward to today they would probably be in jail but back then they were heros. How about the owner of Anderson products for RVs and his family defacing rocks at Corona Arch? https://www.rvtravel.com/anderson843/

BLM?
USMC?

Actually it is KOH. The racers make easy trails difficult and difficult trails easy depending on which rocks get moved to where. The only thing true after a race is the trails changed some for the better, some for worse, but change they do.
