Muffler Touching The Tub

As some of you know, I failed to hold the transmission up after dropping the skid plate. The plate is bolted up now but the muffler and the pipe exiting it are hitting the underside of the Jeep:

The exhaust Flange is opened up where you can see the red gasket maker has opened up:

Any help is appreciated. I am going to start by opening the flange between the catalytic converter and the muffler.
FYI, the hanger holding the catalytic converter to the transmission looks fine:

Check the rear hanger at the tailpipe, sometimes they get flipped over, kind of hooked upside down. Loosen up all the exhaust joints - hangers, flange, and at the exhaust manifold, and give it a good shake. Maybe it will settle better.

These type of hangers can get shoved up and then get stuck there. You have to loosen everything and shove and yank to get them back down.

Would this hanger be above the muffler? I didn’t see any there

My thoughts are since the transmission dropped lower, it pushed the catalytic converter down with it (since they’re hooked together) causing the flange to open up and the muffler to get pushed up to the tub. My hope is by unbolting the flange I can lower the muffler.
I have high temp RTV to reseal the flange.
