Question for you electrical gurus out there...

My OEM locker switch light does not go off, even when key is out of ignition. I am talking about the amber light on the switch itself. The rear locker is an ARB, works fine. Front locker is still factory, works fine. Dash locker lights come on and off as they should when lockers are engaged or not. After several days of Jeep sitting, this little light ends up draining my battery. I have now disconnected the front locker wiring harness from this switch hoping that this switch is the culprit.

If not, do any of you have any other ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Have you checked the switch with a multimeter?

See if the power and ground have continuity when its in both on and off positions.

I’m surprised the locker works correctly though.

I have had the Savvy corner armor sitting in my shop for 2 years...I am finally making progress on the install and I am guessing this would be a whole lot easier if I had a straight tub...I am taking my time and hopefully, will finish up tomorrow with this project...

I have decided to powder coat to match body color but won't work on that until after the summer Jeep trips. I will be adding back my flares as well. I also ordered up a new dash lock switch as I believe mine is messed up after I ran a continuity test on it...still left to do is raised body mounts but that will have to wait until winter time...

Looks like they need a test run in the virgocon

Spent the last few days on the Rubicon Trail with pals at the Auburn Jeep Club annual run. It was the cleanest run the 8 of us have had, not a wrench was needed. In all of the years I have run this trail, I have never seen as much water on it as I did this past weekend. We had perfect weather and I thoroughly enjoy this outing year in and out.

On the way out Sunday, I ran into @Alex01 who was running into a rock wall...

Lastly, I had ordered a replacement locker switch, of course, that one was DOA. I took mine apart and found this:

This one works, but the indicator light won't go off at all, which ultimately drains my battery. My temporary solution is disconnecting it until I need it next. I will order another replacement with the hopes of better luck.

A bit right and a second gear bump did the trick lol.

I need a front stretch to the tires hit before the bumper.

Glad you had a good trip. The mosquitoes were killer this year. So much water.

ran into the Rubicon Springs yesterday with friends, our 14th year of doing so. We head in from Tahoe, have lunch, swim and head back out. My CJ7 gets the nod on this trip over the TJ...but, if you look closely, my CJ now has something related to many of the TJ's here in this forum:

we had beautiful weather, and a relatively quiet trail...

good guess, but, amazingly, the RMS hasn't leaked since I replaced it 7 years ago. I replaced the heavy roller fairlead with a Hawse aluminum from Black Magic Brakes...

Sorry, that was tongue in cheek. It’s a great looking CJ and looks like a fun run!
