My regrets

Hello all,
Recently I was accused of screwing up the forum system. There are those who came from the womb with knowledge of setting up a differential, unfortunately I was not one of them. These individuals have low tolerance for rookies who have to learn the hard way. I never knew that posting too many posts would screw up the system and I feel bad about that. Everything I learned in life was transferred to me by someone who cared to do it. Before I retired I transferred all I could to the up and comming rookies just like someone did to me. Life is a big circle and it should be that way. Knowledge is transferrable, wisdom is not and only gained directly proportional to the amount of time one spends on this earth. I can assure you all that I will never screw up your system again. Thanks for reading.

I find it hard to believe you did this. Unless a mod or the owner contacted you about it, I'd question the credibility of any accusations levied against you.

Pretty sure there are safeguards in the system to keep anyone from posting too many posts too quickly, though been a long time since I messed with forum software.

I did a bit of math based on what we see in this thread. This safeguard, if it exists, allows for more than 5000 posts per month. 🤣

I'm sure your math is solid. :)

There used to be controls to limit how quickly a user could post to keep from flooding or spamming. Not sure if that's still a thing but I can't imagine @pocojo was responsible for it. Those limits were usually automatically imposed by the software, so no one would need to reprimand the user directly. KInd of sounds like someone just giving him guff, but I dunno...

I haven’t hit it if there was one. Everyone else should be ok.

What on earth are you talking about? We tease each other otherwise known as busting your balls but it’s all been out of fun and admiration of a fellow Jeep lover. Now if it was @tr21triton you are inferring I get it! 🙄😂.

Jerry, I was communicating with Daryl about pinion gear shims, after that I got the accusation and then Daryl asked Chris to delete the accusal thread. Whether that happened or not I don't know. Im not a good navigator of this site but in the upper right hand corner in that bell shaped symbol it was there. I ll try to find it again, if it was deleted maybe I won't. If I find it I ll post it. If Daryl is on your staff, Im sure he will remember it. I think I remember where it came from but don't want to state that as I am not 100% sure.
