Some one has claimed the pass. I will let you guys know if it falls through.
My buddies and I will be riding County Road 600-1 through the Talladega National Forest later this month. If everybody is able to make it we will have 2 TJs, 2 JKUs, and a Samari. We are planning on getting to the camp site on top of the ridge between 6:30 and 7:30pm on Friday September 22. The loose plan is to ride the trail all day Saturday and explore some off shoot trails. The last time we were there we stayed at a Campground Saturday night. We will head back home Sunday the 24th. We were out there several months ago and the ride was surprisingly fun as we stayed in 4 wheel drive most of Saturday.

Not sure just yet, it's a haul for me. It's a little over 100 miles. I probably won't leave before daylight cause I don't have a top on my Jeep.
