Need advice on hood rubbing

My hood has been rubbing sense I got my Jeep in 2015. I stuck a shim where the latch goes to stop the squeaking temporarily until I can get around to fixing it. I’m assuming it’s been in an incident at one time or the other. My question is it seems that the hood is straight. The gaps look good everywhere but that one side towards the front. The fender just seems to low. You guys got any ideas on the best way to fix it.

Remove the chrome grill cover and see if it nets the needed clearance?

Looks like the body shop did a less than desirable repair on the hood. Sanding scratches and peeling paint for one.
The fix would be to bend the corner of the hood away from the grill. Or buy a new hood but, matching the paint will be the next issue.

the fender has definitely been painted you can see the paint mismatch at the tub.. and the paint on the hood cracking and peeling is likely where the hood was bent. Everything forward of the firewall bolts on so everything can be adjusted pretty easily. I put a highline on my TJ, new hood, fenders, flares. The instructions state, bolt all the parts on before tightening anything so you can tweak the fit.

Hard to say from the pictures but does the gap grow between the hood and grill, going left to right? Has the hood been sprung? It looks almost like it is bowed up.

I'd be curious what the grill below the chrome cap looks like too. The paint and body looks pretty shitty. Is it the original fender?

First off, yank that chrome grill cover, as that appears to be part of the issue. Secondly, it looks as if someone repaired things but didn't line them up properly. A body shop would be able to fix this pretty easily is my guess.
