Hello,
I’m working on a project that involves modeling the steering geometry of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ), and I’m trying to find two specific measurements:
For reference, I’ve seen similar measurements for a Mahindra Bolero (which uses a comparable solid front axle):
I just want to confirm whether the TJ is in a similar range or significantly different.
I’m working on a project that involves modeling the steering geometry of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ), and I’m trying to find two specific measurements:
- Center of rotation (Kingpin) to wheel centerline distance
- Distance from kingpin center to tie rod joint center
For reference, I’ve seen similar measurements for a Mahindra Bolero (which uses a comparable solid front axle):
- Kingpin to wheel = ~120 mm or 4.72 in
- Kingpin to tie rod = ~145 mm or 5.7 in
I just want to confirm whether the TJ is in a similar range or significantly different.
