Need opinions on sliders with a step

They are diamond plate. No gasket. So I went and gouged a bit of paint off our of curiosity. Took some metal with the paint. Aluminum. Guessing not stock Rubi.

Was looking at some pics of other Jeeps. My diamond plate comes right up to the bottom of the door. It looks like the ones in the pics are 2-4" below the door. Going to start looking for a better slider.
