Hi All,
So I'm getting the magnaflow cats and a banks exhaust installed. I noticed on the last road trip that the floor in the back got really warm. Not blazing hot but warm. the bottom of my ice cooler was warm to the touch. Is that normal? Will insulating the exhaust system remedy that? Is it worth the money. btw, I got a crack in the sidewall on one of my KO2's
Thank you!

You should have factory heat shields above the exhaust. If they aren't there, they may have fallen off or been removed by the previous owner. Those will make a world of difference, and almost eliminate the heat on the floor entirely.
