If they came out with the new FoxBody and the 7.3 Godzilla combo, now that would choice!!!!!

The FoxBody is what saved the Mustang from going by the wayside!!!!

I lean towards the older styled stuff as to what looks good. Call me nostalgic… but have lined against few fox bodies and it’s a good platform.

I like all the mustangs up to 1971-1978. Then FoxBodys 1979-1993 then when they revamped again in 2005 to present.

The extra long 71-73 and the pintoest mustang 2 and cobra 2 just about buried the Mustang line up.

I would agree with that-

I had a chance to track one of the 2015’s at Miller Sports Raceway Racing school and later a friend let me take the drivers seat on a road trip. That coyote motor is nice… 135mph should not feel that comfortable.

back the fox body though-I lined up my El Camino to an early 1990’s GT- styling wise to much plastic flaring- but about 115-120 that car drove right around me..

I really like the '71-'73 models. The long nose feels right from behind the wheel. The '74-'78 Mustang II was the weak point for the series, in my opinion, but I've developed an appreciation for them through the years. The '79-'82 looked cheap (frontend treatment), but started to improve by '83. I have no issues with the '84 through '93, and have no use at all for the ''94 through 2004 models. The '05-'09 models looked great, but the 2010 tail light treatment sucked. By then, I'd lost all interest, anyway. All just my opinion, of course.

You’re leaving out a couple of the best models. The 03-04 Cobra and Mach 1.

Other than the Shelby variant much better than the heavy boats that followed for a few years.

My last mustang was a 92 coupe with a 347ci stroker, Tremec 5sp and a currie 9 inch rear-end. I had 3 third members depending on what I was doing.

3.08, 3.73 and 4.11

I raced a new model Camero Z28 on the interstate. I ran out of gearing and his was governed at 168mph. That was with the 3.07 gears.

It's pretty intense but not my fastest behind the wheel speed, but it is my fastest off the track speed.
