New Member - 04 / 05 TJR Maryland

I have been a long time lurker on here and just recently joined. I have a 2004 TJR ( Khaki) that I bought just before Covid. It's been great and I mainly use it for taking the family on drives.

Recently, in an effort to keep the 2004 stock, I purchased a 2005 TJR (black) thats more of a project. It needs a good amount of work but I will post updates on them in the Member Project / Build Area.

It's a baja bug that my dad just recently sold. He had it for a few years and went through it mechanically. He bought from a guy in California who had owned it for like 25+ years. It was pretty cool to drive around.

Color me impressed that you have not one, but two TJRs in Maryland. I’m still looking for my first, most I see here seem to be rusted out pieces of junk. And sweet VW!

Thanks man, I appreciate it. The Khaki Tj really is a nice one. The black one I would consider on the rougher end of things. Not horrible but its a good starting point for a project.
