Thanks for adding me to the group. Owned and built jeeps for the past 12 years or so.

I live on the West Coast of Canada in BC. We are lucky to have a ton of crown land we can explore/wheel on. Although we do live in a rain forest, we do get some sunny/dry wheeling in the summer!

Look forward to contributing to the site in the future

Pics of my old TJ and new LJR. Just swapped in a 5.3L over the winter. The love for the Jeep has increased 150% :)

295HP and over 300ft-lbs or torque is a fantastic upgrade I can see why your Love for your jeep has been bumped up haha

Did you do the 5.3 swap yourself or did a local shop do it for you?
Hey there

I did the swap myself in my townhouse garage :) Never done a motor swap and had it done in 5months. I did everything except the welding of the motor mounts and cross member (had to move forward 2"). Had a buddy give me a hand with some wiring of my Tach but other than that all by myself. Not too difficult if you do your research and gather parts before hand.
