New TJ Owner!

I've been saving/looking for 2 years for the perfect TJ...and I finally found the one!
The seats have definitely seen their fair share of off-roading!

What would y'all suggest on seat covers that don't get too hot in Texas summers and are easy to clean after a good off-roading day?

For seat covers, you want to avoid neoprene like the plague, seriously. It's a horrible, horrible material that I often wonder whose dumb idea it was to make into a seat cover material. You'll sweat like hell with neoprene and be miserable in the Summer.

What you want is a nice synthetic material that doesn't make you sweat and is easy to clean. The most popular seat cover for the TJ I would say is the IGGEE seat cover found on eBay. They are made in the US, they fit better than almost any seat cover out there, and they look so good that you'd have a hard time telling that they are even seat covers to begin with. Here they are:

Good looking rig. The Bartact seat covers are nice too. A bit more spendy, but they have the molle attachments and come with two storage bags. Buddy of mine has them in his JKU and the fit like a glove.

I have the Bartact (Trek Armor until Trek Mountain Bikes got together with Under Amour and sued them) seat covers in both of my LJs and they are excellent. While they don't look like they'd be weatherproof, they are. Here's the best video I've seen about them -
