Just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself and my Jeep to the forum. I am super excited to be in a TJ specific forum!!
My family purchased my 01 TJ 60th Anniversary bone stock in 2003 as a daily driver for my mother. I was only 9 at the time but I developed an immediate love for Jeeps and the lifestyle that came along with them from the Jeep wave to topless/doorless trips to the beach. By the age of 16 I had taken part in all routine maintenance and upgrades done to the vehicle. I was lucky enough to be given access to drive the Jeep to and from school and around town and with that came more responsibility. My Jeep grew as I grew. The thought of driving it and working on it helped carry me through my 2 battles with stage 4 lymphoma. I am now 23, fresh out of a bone marrow transplant, and incredibly excited to see what more there is to come for myself and my Jeep! To a lot of people a Jeep is just a car, but to a lot of us it is a part of who we are and a reflection of ourselves. I look forward to hearing your stories and seeing your creations!
My build description is on my profile. If anyone is interested in the Banks set up, ARB bumpers/rock guards, regearing from 3.07s to 4.10s etc. feel free to ask.
These photos show a few aesthetic changes over the past few years. (Would be interested in hearing your opinions on the side marker colors).
