I have always wanted a Jeep. Had a Tacoma as a daily driver and was going to switch to the Gladiator. I decided a full size truck was better for my needs, and got a 2005 LJ to mess with. It's only seen salt one time. It will definitely be a 6-8 months out of the year toy for me. Ordered bumpers, a winch, soft top, and a few other small goodies. Can't wait until the weather breaks.

Awesome - welcome to the forum.

But just to be clear, on your first picture - that's not what "lifted Jeep" means.... ;)

I had to be able to get it Tetris'd into the garage until I can build another one for it. I wasn't about to leave it sit out in what we have here.

Nice lookin rig. Should be fun installing those goodies!

BTW...how do you like those car dollies? I squeeze a third car in the garage in the winter, but I've always just maneuvered it in. Probably doing it the hard way, as per usual.

The dolly's were great for moving the Jeep. I don't know that I would trust leaving the vehicle on them. I assume they would eventually start to bend. They were from Amazon.

Got it. Thanks for the feedback. I saw some on a flyer from Harbor Freight. Probably would bend eventually as well. But, on a not so permanent basis, I bet they are worth it for moving the Jeep and then removing them. (y)

Installed Fishbone Piranha front and rear bumpers (to match the sliders), a Warn m8000s, a spare tire delete licence plate (hated the way it looked), then replaced the spare tire delete with a Morryde reinforcement kit and spare tire holder. I bought the Jeep without a spare. Having the tires installed on Fuel Anza wheels. It feels like it's coming along.
