The 2009+ R1 with it's crossplane crankshaft is an absolute hoot! Might just be the best sounding production motorcycle ever made. Reactions: Ron505

Oh yeah, no doubt about that. My friend has the same bike and it's got unbelievable amounts of power. I remember when the 4 strokes first came out and everyone was skeptical about them. Now they're even better than the 2 strokes. Goes to show that usually they don't put something into production unless it's better than the last model (in most cases at least). Reactions: Ron505
