Hi All,
New member here. Around 5 years ago my wife found a used 02 TJ that she wanted because she "loves Jeeps". I didn't care either way if she bought it; I'm a motorcycle guy and she just wanted something for running around town. I can understand that.
TL;DR version is that I've come to really appreciate them as I've taken her on some of my adventure/enduro/ getting way out there sort of trails in the Jeep. I've found I like it and she does too.
We're finding things that we would like and/or need to change and there's too broad of a market out there to make educated choices. I'm hoping to learn some things here and it looks promising after reading through some threads.

Pics to come after she wakes up and sends me some.

Welcome. Personally I'd reassign the Hi-Jack to pulling fence posts. You don't need it. A bottle jack and 4x4 block of wood will change even a 35" tire. I'd also swap the widow maker for synthetic line.

I would agree but it has proven to be more than ornamental😄 We actually just used it Saturday to get out of a wash in N. AZ...I'll spare the details. But I agree, the bottle jack/block of wood is good for anywhere else. I've only ever used it on trails for extraction. Luckily I haven't had to use it yet to change a tire.

Those are pretty old pictures and it was fairly new at the time. I'll try to get some up that show the rigors of going to the North Rim (the back way)😁
