Having never been a "Jeep" person all of this was new to me a year ago. A 99 TJ came to me via my son who bought and broke it while away in school. So it became my new project. In that time I have relied heavily on the advice I've pulled from here during the revival of my TJ. Just wanted to say thanks to all the good posts and info that I got from here to help me along the way to where it is now! a few more components arrive this week then to the final paint session! Having now been mobile with it for about a month I can see what all the HYPE was about. Wife and I are loving the Jeep Thing!! Thanks again!

Some pics from the project timeline. Open to any suggestions for improvements...//But discreetly if the wife sees anymore parts boxes on the front porch i'll be in the doghouse// :)

Wow, that's one hell of a project, but the end result was worth it.

Got any other plans for it?

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Thank You all for the replies!, it was a fun year putting it together, This past weekend, got the SYE sorted, Magnaflow Exhaust in and a Adams front drive shaft. Next the Steinjager adjustable upper and lowers ft and rear. Scary thing is just when you think that's gonna be IT you see this other "must have".......Does it ever end? Its like as soon as I think Im out, they pull me back in!!! LOL :)

Wow — I'm always amazed/jealous at you guys who can essentially build a Jeep from scratch. Well done! It looks great.
Thanks, Its more like therapy then anything LOL after a tough day, running down to the garage to beat on some metal is a great stress reliever!! As long as you don't have to have it running by the morning to get to work with it that is!!
