My first TJ bought almost a year ago was a complete disaster. Chalking it up to my own ignorance and not throwing the baby out with the bath water, I’m giving it another go. After selling the 1998 SE 2.5, I took a couple of weeks to assess what the market offered. Here’s what I found. It’s a 2006 X 4.0 Auto with the 65th Anniversary trim. 93,000 original miles through three owners. It was purchased about 30 miles from where I live when it was new and it’s never lived more than that distance.
Everything is as it came off the showroom, with the exception of a Sony head unit and those KC lights on the front bumper. It’s almost perfect—the driver seat doesn’t fold/tumble so I have to take it back in this week to have that addressed. Got a lifetime powertrain warranty on it since the miles were so low, which was a plus. What do you guys think?
