No threads in Jeep A-pillar windshield hinges

Is that bad that the hinge can't be separated from the frame? It's probably a dumb question. I can always drill out the nutsert if needed, but what problem will it cause being bonded together?

The hinge leaf is to be "clamped" between the windshield frame and the head of the hinge bolts. The threaded holes were a captive nut plate in the windshield frame, I think everyone assumed you would be putting the nutserts in the windshield frame as a replacement for the nut plate, not in the hinge. The way you have it now, the hinge bolt will thread into and tighten on the hinge leaf, but there will be no mechanical connection to or clamping of the windshield frame.
