My LJ just started making this noise this morning coming from the transmission. When the clutch is fully released, I can hear it come from the transmission. When the clutch is pressed in, I can hear it come from the engine area. When in between, I don't hear it at all.
I've got a 6 speed manual with the 4.0
My idea was the throwout bearing but it would be great to hear any other thoughts.
